Palore provides rich content enhancement services for local search sites.
We scrape hundreds of sites (with numbers growing every day) and aggregate information
on millions of businesses in the US. This information includes many data attributes
on local businesses that can enrich the content of local search sites, help establish
the site as a good source of local content for search engines (improve SEO), and
enhance user-experience.
For example, we provide rich content on restaurants, with attributes spanning from
menus and reviews to WiFi information, wine lists, etc.

Jack Elaad, Chairman
|
|
During nearly 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Elaad has acquired extensive
expertise in all functional skills and the broad view of the Israeli market, required
to run an investment company focused on Israel. This includes: selecting a portfolio
of investments and controlling their analysis, supervising companies in a portfolio,
managing financial activities, serving as a director and mentoring the management,
developing and executing exit strategies, maintaining extensive contacts in the
business community, and operating as a senior executive in the Israeli and London
banking communities. All ensure the addition of significant value to companies and
shareholders. From 1996 to 2002, Mr. Elaad ran and chaired a publicly quoted venture
capital fund, managing $50M with a portfolio of 25 companies, mainly at early stage.
During his term Mr. Elaad gained experience in capital raising from private investors,
as well as from the public, through initial and secondary offerings in Israel, the
US and the UK. Mr. Elaad also serves as the Chairman of the Board at the First International
Bank of Israel.

Hanan Lifshitz, Co-Founder and CEO
|
Hanan brings a wealth of experience in technical, marketing and business aspects,
following over 10 years of experience in the hi-tech and venture capital industry.
After serving in the Intelligence Corps as a system designer and a team leader,
Hanan joined HyperBanner as a project manager. He was responsible for the design,
development and testing of a new Internet product. Hanan went on to join Flash Network,
where as a product manager, he engaged in defining new network products and managing
their development; and later as a Marketing Manager, researched new markets and
helped redefine the company's product line. After 2 years at Flash, Hanan joined
Sadot, a venture capital fund, as an investment manager, performing comprehensive
due diligence for companies seeking funding. Before co-founding SpearCast, Hanan
worked closely with several start-ups in the field of communication and networking
as a marketing and technical consultant.
Hanan graduated from Tel-Aviv University's top honors program, The Interdisciplinary
Program for Outstanding Students, and now holds an M.A. in Philosophy Magna Cum
Laude.

Erez Cochva, Co-Founder & President
|
Erez brings with him a proven track record of founding a start-up company and growing
it from a one-person operation to an established, multi-national company with local
operations in Europe, the US, Canada, Japan and China.
Back in 1996 Erez founded HyperBanner as an Internet services company targeting
small and medium businesses (SMBs). HyperBanner expanded to over 30 countries worldwide
and a team of over 100 professionals. Initially, as the company's Founder & CEO,
Erez oversaw all business, technical and marketing aspects, reaching near profitability
after 2 years and later raising over $15M. In the span of 4 years HyperBanner grew
to provide local services and local customer support in over 30 countries in more
than 13 Languages worldwide; it became the second largest banner exchange network
in the world, surpassed only by LinkExchange (LinkExchange was purchased by Microsoft
[MSFT] for $300M in 1998). In this position, Erez spent 2 years in the company's
US headquarters in Cupertino, defining the company's business strategy and overseeing
technical operations.
Prior to founding HyperBanner, Erez served as a Captain in the Intelligence Corps,
where he managed large-scale real-time software projects. Before enlisting in the
army, Erez owned and managed a PCB layout business. Erez graduated from the Technion
with a degree in electrical engineering.

Morten Lund, Director
|
|
Morten is a self-described serial entrepreneur. He founded and invested in 50 high
profile tech start-ups including VOIP star Skype
(recently sold to eBay for $4.3 billion), anti-virus consumer brand
Bullguard, Scandinavian web agency NeoIdeo (sold to Leo Burnett), high performing
Chinese browser Maxthon, with 72 million downloads,
Orolix, the fastest growing on-line company
in Brazil and PokerOffice, the world leader in poker training. Recent activities
include starting 40+ companies under his boutique firm LundKenner and igniting an
international communications agency, Hello Group,
founded in 2006. Additionally, Morten started 3 funds: Chinese Property, Indian
Tech Ventures and Middle East GreenTech Private Equity Fund.

Nave Ronen, VP R&D
|
With over 13 years of experience in the hi-tech industry, Nave has held a spectrum
of leading positions in R&D Management. He brings a wide experience in technical,
architectural and managerial aspects of the industry. Nave started his hi-tech career
at the age of sixteen as a freelance software developer in the civil engineering
and infrastructure design industry, developing utilities and systems to aid designers
and planners with their work. Starting at age 18, Nave served for more than six
years as an officer in the Israeli Intelligence Corps. He served in the Corps's
main software unit, where he filled various positions starting from a programming
and quickly advancing to team and project leaderships. His last project in the service
involved the design and development of a distributed multi site mission critical
GIS application, which won several GIS awards (ESRI Best GIS system for the year
2000). In 2000 Nave joined a (then just established) start-up company, Celebros
(www.celebros.com), where he managed teams of software and algorithm developers.
Celebros is currently the market leader in the e-commerce search industry, with
clients in the United States, Europe and the Far East. Nave has a vast experience
with search engine technology, including data mining, text analysis, NLP and machine
learning.
Nave holds a B.A in Computer Science and a MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Malcolm Smith, Vice President, Business Development
|
Bringing over 15 years of executive management, sales and marketing experience in
the software, internet, telco and enterprise markets, Malcolm leads Palore's business
development efforts.
Malcolm joined Palore in May 2007 from Voice Internet, Inc. where he was vice president
of business development. At Voice Internet he oversaw development of new business
opportunities and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Voice Internet, Malcolm
was part of the global alliances team at Nuance Communications where he was responsible
for channel sales to the top telecommunications carriers in the world of all in-network
products and services.
Previously, Malcolm served in a variety of sales and alliances roles at Oracle Corporation
both at corporate headquarters and in overseas assignments. He started at Oracle
as an inside sales representative eventually moving into roles in the field sales
and alliances organizations. Malcolm also played a critical role in the establishment
and rapid growth of Oracle's subsidiary in Israel.
Malcolm holds a BA in History from UC Berkeley.

Onn Manelson, VP of Account Management
|
With a background in Operations, Project Management and Customer Management, Onn joins Palore to oversee all customer management related activities.
With over 10 years of experience in the On-line industry Onn has held several key positions with large and medium size companies before joining our team in early 2008.
At Mercury Interactive (purchased by HP) Onn served as a Senior Consultant in the company’s' venture to become the worlds leader of online business monitoring and optimization. He served both in the company’s' Israeli and European headquarters.
Onn went on to lead the Project Management group at Celebros Ltd, a leader of AI search and navigation solutions, overseeing all customer implementations as well as Account Management activities. He then took over the role of Director of Operations where he established the company’s' ASP service solutions with over 200 devices spread world wide.
Onn holds a B.Sc in Industrial and Management Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University.

Greg Sterling
|
Greg Sterling is the founding principal of Sterling Market Intelligence, a consulting and research firm
focused on the Internet's impact on local consumer and advertiser behavior. He also is a Senior Analyst for
Local Mobile Search, an advisory service from Opus Research.
Before Sterling Market Intelligence, Sterling ran The Kelsey Group's Interactive Local Media program. Prior
to The Kelsey Group, Sterling was at TechTV where he helped produce "Working the Web," a national television
show dedicated to e-business and the Internet. Before TechTV he was a founding editor and executive producer
at AllBusiness.com. And prior to joining AllBusiness, Sterling was a practicing attorney in San Francisco.

Uzi Eliyahu
|
Uzi Eliahou has thirteen years of experience in the software industry, including five years of operations experience in
the Internet industry. As head of Internet strategy for NEC Computers, Zenith Data Systems, and Packard Bell, Mr. Eliahou
spearheaded the Intel Inside co-op web media campaign with a budget of over $10 million, and initiated an Internet-based
outlet store, which generated tens of millions of dollars in sales. He was also responsible for the launch of an Internet
online store for NEC's computer division, where annual revenues exceeded $25 million in sales. Prior to that, Mr. Eliahou
was the founder and CEO of InterStream, a high-tech marketing consulting firm that introduced the Web's first downloadable
toy for Tiger-Toys. He is also a business and technology advisor to several advanced technology companies.
Mr. Eliahou has computer systems training from the Israeli Air-Force. He holds a B.S. in communications and computerized
animation from Tel-Aviv University, with additional courses in economics and finance.

Auren Hoffman
|
Auren Hoffman is the CEO of Rapleaf. He previously founded and sold three Internet companies before age 30: From 2003-2006,
Auren served as Chairman of Stonebrick Group and Chairman of the Connector Group (Silicon Valley 100). Auren was previously CEO
of BridgePath Corporation, an enterprise software company to recruiting and staffing firms that enabled collaborative placement
transactions. He sold BridgePath to Bullhorn in 2002. Auren founded Kyber Systems, an Intranet development firm. He sold Kyber
Systems to Human Ingenuity in 1997 where he served as Vice President of Consulting. Auren was also a non-employee co-founder of
GetRelevant (sold to Lycos in 2002).
Auren Hoffman writes the Summation blog and is the co-author of the book 21st Century Selling. Auren holds a B.S.E. in Industrial
Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley. He enjoys soccer, chess, and reading.
